The first full fruiting of our Ridge Road Vineyard. This wine was fermented in a single stainless steel tank. The color is light and not as brilliant as the nose or pallet suggest. The nose is full of bright raspberry, eucalyptus, cedar and light barrel spice. The pallet is soft and seamlessly blends the raspberry and spice from the nose with subtle cherry and vanilla undertones. The tannins are supple and are balanced by the wines lingering acidity.

2010 brought us a long, hot, dry summer leading to an early harvest of ripe fruit. This vintage was aged 18 months in 3 to 4 year old French oak. Condensed fruit, blackberries and lavender dominate the palate with soft notes of vanilla and barrel spice. Soft tannins on the finish make this wine ripe, yet balanced.
